To Dream The Dream Wedding

My husband and I had  our first baby during the times when people think we were not ready to have our own family yet. We  were twenty three years old, fresh graduate from college,  and just starting to build our own careers. Unexpected as it was, but having our first baby was the best blessing  in our lives.

Lucky enough I have the  best partner who never left me . Thus, saving me from those judgemental people who think that having a baby before marriage would make us the "big  failure" to our  families. Well, we proved them wrong!!  We had our Civil Marriage in  May 2009,three months after our Baby Chloe was born.

Each time we recall our civil wedding, we can't help but laugh at ourselves. We were wearing  shades of green and we do not even know how we were able to came up with the idea. He was teasing me , why did I let him wear that kind of shirt. All because we only had a
limited budget that time  but it was  indeed the best moment because  finally, I became Mrs Sena.

The Wedding is Posponed

18th day of September 2018 could have been one of the best day of our lives as a couple. On that day, we are set to have our church wedding. God knows how long we have waited for that day to come. Unfortunately unfair things happen, we felt like - life has not turned out the way we have hoped for.

Few weeks before the wedding became the worst that ever happened. I went through sudden lose of weight, never wanted to look at myself in the mirror for I felt I am the most ugliest person because of so much stress. The worst is I felt like it was the end of the world for me.

Few of the reasons for church wedding posponement is that my husband's flight from Germany to the Phillipines has been cancelled four times due bad weather, the ship has no chance to go closer to the port due to zero visibility because of fog and a lot more, thus, unabling him to come home on time. Unfortunately, we are not able to process the documents required by the church.

How the people around us would react is what worried us the most. However, we realized that we do not need to think too much about it because sincere friends would understand and family would show love and support no matter what.

The best realization for this is that, my husband and I went through one of the toughest storm yet finding ourselves still holding hands. Maybe because we both know that God has been there for us and always will come to the rescue. All we need is to keep our faith and never give up. Because sometimes delays are blessings in disguise, it may be too hard to understand at this moment but one thing is for sure- THE BEST IS YET TO COME
